# Install Ocoya on your phone or computer

> Add Ocoya to your home screen or Dock so it opens in its own window, like an app.

Ocoya runs in your browser, and you can also install it from there. Installing gives Ocoya its own icon on your home screen, Dock or taskbar and opens it in a window without the browser's tabs and address bar. There's no app store download.

The installed app is the same Ocoya you use in the browser. It shows the same brands, posts and settings and updates on its own. You may need to sign in once the first time you open it.

## iPhone and iPad

  <Step title="Open Ocoya in Safari">
    Go to [app.ocoya.com](https://app.ocoya.com/) and sign in.

</Frame>

Keyboard shortcuts work as they do in the browser. Press `Cmd` / `Ctrl` + `R` to reload. See [Keyboard shortcuts](/help/keyboard-shortcuts) for the editor's shortcuts.

Links to other sites open in your normal browser. Connecting a channel sends you to the network's sign-in page. If that doesn't bring you back to the installed app, connect the channel from [app.ocoya.com](https://app.ocoya.com/) in your browser. It appears in the app straight away.

## Remove the app

* **iPhone, iPad and Android:** press and hold the Ocoya icon, then remove it.
* **Mac (Safari):** drag Ocoya out of the Dock, then delete it from the **Applications** folder in your home folder.
* **Chrome or Edge:** in the Ocoya window, open the **⋮** menu and choose **Uninstall Ocoya**.

Removing the app doesn't change your account, brands or scheduled posts. They're all still there at [app.ocoya.com](https://app.ocoya.com/).
