The Brand score shows how well Ocoya knows your brand. It is a score out of 100 for how complete your brand profile is, counted on the parts Ocoya actually writes and designs with. It is not a measure of how your posts perform, and nothing is blocked by a low score.
You see it in two places:
- A small ring next to Brand in the left sidebar. Hover it to read “Brand score: N of 100” and the stage.
- A card at the bottom of the Brand settings sidebar, with the ring, the stage and a Next: suggestion. This one moves as you edit, before you save. The ring in the main sidebar updates when you save.
What each part is worth

Channels and the description weigh most because a post needs somewhere to go and something true to say. Most parts give some points before they are complete, so the number moves as soon as you add anything.
The stages

The next step
Under the stage, the card suggests one thing to do, such as Next: Add your logo. Select it to open that section.
It always picks the part with the most points still missing. If two parts are tied, the one listed first in the table above wins. As parts fill up, the suggestion changes: Connect a channel becomes Connect more channels, Describe your brand becomes Say more about your brand, Add your brand colors becomes Add another color, and so on. When the score is 100, there is no suggestion.
An AI tool connected to Ocoya or the REST API gets the same score and next step, so you can ask it what to fill in next.
How to reach 100
- Connect three or more channels.
- Add your website.
- Enter a name and a description of at least 80 characters.
- Pick at least one tone in Voice.
- Upload a logo.
- Add at least two colors.
- Have five or more SEO keywords and five or more hashtags. Detect fills both in one run.
- Select Save.
