Connecting a channel lets you publish to it. Inbox, automated replies and Analytics depend on what each network lets apps read, so they cover fewer networks. This page lists them all.

Automated replies are workflows that start when someone messages, comments, mentions you or leaves a review, and answer them. See Automating the Inbox.

What the statuses mean

StatusMeaning
AvailableWorks today for every workspace.
Coming soonBuilt and being tested. It will turn on without you doing anything.
Not yetThe network allows it, but Ocoya doesn’t support it yet.
Not possibleThe network doesn’t let apps do this, so no tool can offer it.
—Doesn’t apply: there are no conversations or audience stats to show.

Inbox, network by network

Inbox is where the conversations from your channels land so you can answer them in Ocoya. This is what each network sends there.

LinkedIn only lets apps read the comments and mentions of a company Page. Comments on a personal profile’s posts, and LinkedIn messages, are kept to LinkedIn’s own partners.

Instagram DMs need one setting switched on in the Instagram app before they appear. See Instagram DMs not showing in Inbox.

Why some say “Not possible”

These networks give apps no way to read or answer conversations:

  • Pinterest has no comments or messages for apps at all.
  • Snapchat has no API for comments or story replies.
  • Dribbble has no comments API.
  • Tumblr and DEV.to let apps read replies but not answer them, so a reply would have to be written on the site anyway.

If a network adds this, we’ll move it to Not yet here.

Common questions

“I connected X but nothing appears in the Inbox.” X isn’t in the Inbox yet. Publishing to it works as normal.

“Do I need to reconnect when something goes from Coming soon to Available?” For LinkedIn, Bluesky and WordPress, no. Mastodon channels connected before the Inbox supported Mastodon need reconnecting once, and the Inbox tells you when.

“My Bluesky DMs don’t show up.” Bluesky channels connected through Bluesky’s sign-in get DMs automatically. If yours was connected earlier with an app password that didn’t allow direct messages, reconnect Bluesky and approve Ocoya on Bluesky’s sign-in page.

“What comes in from Whop?” The support chats of the businesses you connected, so you can answer customers from Ocoya. Your personal Whop DMs and chat rooms aren’t included: DMs are written to you, not your business, and chat rooms are your community talking. Whop is checked every minute while the Inbox is open. A workflow can answer support chats too: start it with New Whop support message and end it with Reply on Whop. If you connected Whop before it was in the Inbox, reconnect it once to allow reading and answering messages.

“What comes in from Telegram?” Comments on what your channel or group posts. For a channel, people comment in the channel’s discussion group, so add the Ocoya bot to that group as an admin too, the same way you added it to the channel. In a group, replies to the bot’s posts come in, and replies to those replies. Everything else said in a group stays out of the Inbox, and so do private messages to the bot: it’s one bot for every Ocoya customer, so it can’t tell whose they are. Your replies are sent by the Ocoya bot, as a reply to the comment.

“What comes in from Discord?” Replies to the posts Ocoya made in your channel, replies to those replies, and messages in a thread someone starts from one of your posts. Each post becomes one conversation, with the post above it. The rest of the channel’s chat stays out of the Inbox. Discord is checked every 5 minutes while the Inbox is open. Your answers are sent by the Ocoya app as a Discord reply, so the person is notified. Channels connected before Discord was in the Inbox need reconnecting once, so the Ocoya app can read and reply there. In a private channel, also give the Ocoya app access to the channel in Discord.

“How do WordPress comments work?” Each comment on your posts becomes a conversation, with the post above it and every reply under it. Comments waiting for approval on your site show up too, if the WordPress user you connected can moderate comments (Editor or Administrator). Replying to one approves it, as Approve and Reply does in WordPress.

“Where are my Google reviews?” In the Inbox, under Reviews. Your reply is posted publicly under the review on Google. A review has one reply, so sending another replaces the first. The first time, Ocoya brings in reviews from the last 30 days.

“Can I ask for a network?” Yes. Tell us which one through Contact support. It helps us choose what to build next.
