Ocoya only emails you about things that happened in your account. There’s no marketing opt-out to hunt for, and no notification settings — each email below is tied to an action.

Signing in and your account

A password added email you weren’t expecting is worth acting on — it means someone set a password on your account. Change it and check your connected sign-in methods. See Your account.

See Invite people to a brand.

Approvals

If you’re an approver and these aren’t arriving, that’s worth chasing — a post waiting on approval does not publish while it waits. See Post approvals.

Billing

Invoices and receipts come from Stripe, not from Ocoya. They’re also downloadable any time from the billing portal. See Payment and invoices.

What Ocoya doesn’t email you about

Worth knowing, because people expect some of these:
  • A post that failed to publish. Check Planner, or the Error column in Board view. This is the big one — a channel that needs reconnecting won’t announce itself.
  • A workflow that failed, or one burning through credits.
  • Running out of credits.
  • A channel whose access has expired.
If a post going out matters, check Planner rather than waiting to be told. See Why didn’t my post publish?

If an email doesn’t arrive

  1. Wait two minutes — delivery is usually immediate but can lag.
  2. Check spam and junk.
  3. Confirm the address it was sent to is one you can open. Invitations and verifications go to the address they were addressed to, not to your current one.
  4. If your company filters inbound mail, ask IT to allow ocoya.com.
