Connect Whop
1
Open Channels
Select Channels in the left sidebar, then Connect channel.
2
Choose Whop
Pick Whop from the Add a connection panel — it’s listed under Community.
3
Authorize on Whop
Ocoya sends you to Whop to approve reading your communities and their forums, and creating forum posts.
4
Pick your forums
Ocoya lists every forum across the communities you belong to. Select the ones you want to schedule to — each becomes its own channel.
What you can post
Unlike most channels, Whop takes video as an ordinary attachment alongside images in the same post.
Text is required: a Whop post with only attachments is refused.
The title
Whop shows a title above the body and only requires one on paywalled posts, which Ocoya doesn’t publish. So the field is optional, capped at 200 characters, and left empty the post simply starts with your body.Markdown
The body is Markdown, so headings, lists, links and code fences all render. A caption written for social will read thin as a forum post — if you’re posting to Whop alongside social channels, use per-channel captions and write the longer version for Whop.Whop’s limits
Whop publishes no limits of its own for any of these, so every number here is Ocoya’s guard rail — set wide enough for a real forum post and narrow enough to fail in the editor rather than at Whop.
Common problems
“Whop posts require text.” The post has attachments but no body. Whop needs the text. “Whop attachments cannot exceed 100 MB.” One file is over the cap. Compress it or leave it out. “This Whop account cannot post in the selected forum. Ask a company admin for posting access, or reconnect.” You can read the forum but not post in it. That’s a permission on Whop, granted by a company admin. “This Whop forum no longer exists. Reconnect the channel and pick a forum again.” The forum was deleted or renamed on Whop. Reconnect and choose a current one. “Whop did not finish processing the uploaded media in time.” A large attachment was still being processed when the post timed out. Try a smaller file. “Connection to your profile has expired. Please reconnect.” See Reconnect a channel.Related
